Job Summary:


We are seeking a talented and creative content and operations intern to join our professional services firm. The primary focus of this role will be to assist in developing content for corporate communication purposes and assisting in operations management. You will play a vital role in shaping our brand's messaging and establishing our thought leadership within the industry. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation and corporate communication in the context of professional services.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Strategy teams to implement compelling content strategies aligned with the firm's objectives.
  • Create high-quality, original content for various platforms, including website, blog, social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Community management and technical assistance for all virtual platforms
  • Manage workflow and projects related to the virtual communities and platforms
  • Conduct research on industry trends, market insights, and best practices to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Assist in the development and execution of content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content across different channels.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) and incorporate keywords and relevant metadata.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to gather insights and ensure the accuracy of technical content.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, finance and industry developments, and best practices in content creation and corporate communication.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing the performance of content, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Currently undergoing NYSC or willing to intern for a year
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Demonstrated creativity and ability to craft engaging, informative content tailored to specific audiences.
  • Familiarity with corporate communication principles and an understanding of professional services industry trends.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and basic image editing tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and experience with keyword research is an added advantage.
  • Strong research skills and ability to synthesize information.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in finance and investing is an added advantage.
  • A portfolio of writing samples or previous content creation experience is a plus.
