Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka

Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka is currently the GM , Enterprise Marketing with MTN Nigeria Plc. An alumnus of the University of Manchester, she is a business Leader with over 22 years’ experience in the telecommunication industry  an indelible reputation for leading the development of impactful business strategies, incubating new business models, and building out effective channel to market programs

As part of senior management within MTN Nigeria, She has also been involved in the development and management of profitable business models for high-end enterprise services projected to be MTN Nigeria’s next area of growth opportunities; her expertise in overseeing go to market models has also helped nurture new products into mature revenue-generating engines.

Onyinye is a valued speaker on women in leadership and technology presenting regularly across various platforms

She has attended courses in Leadership and Commercial Strategies with Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School and the Lagos Business School.


Olayinka Oni

Yinka doubles as the Chief Information Officer and the Chief Digital Officer of Sterling Bank where he leads the execution of the bank’s digital strategy. Instead of being described as an Information Technology professional, he would rather be known as a visionary business leader who automates business processes using information technology.

Since February 2016, he leads the Information Technology and Shared Services division at Sterling Bank ensuring that the IT architecture is structured to solve business issues while managing costs and risks.

Yinka strongly believes tech has become the business and as such, the CIO role is central to the success of any organisation. Increasingly the role has taken a seat at the leadership table and assists the leadership team in transforming data into insight while it enables the right course of action to engage customers better and empower employees in delivering high-performance results.

Yinka is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS), a member of the Chartered Institute for IT and a Certified Disaster Recovery Professional.


Adejumoke Awolumate

Mrs. Adejumoke Awolumate is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Stock Broker. She is an Authorized Dealing Clerk at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. She holds a Master’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Ibadan (1995) and an Executive MBA from the Lagos Business School. She is an honors member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society, the International Business Honor Society. She also holds Post Graduate Diplomas in Project Finance and International Entrepreneurship from the University of Middlesex and the Yale School of Management respectively.

Mrs. Awolumate started her career in audit, consulting and taxation in 1995 and has since moved into investment banking with core competencies in stock broking, wealth management, financial advisory, capital raising and financial restructuring. Her career in investment banking culminated in her role as the Managing Director of Meristem Capital Limited, She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Integrated Dairies Limited where she champions a process of change management and business transformation.
Mrs. Awolumate currently serves on the Board of four other companies in the financial services, manufacturing and real estate. Mrs. Awolumate enjoys reading, music and travelling. She has a strong passion for business transformation and institutionalization.


Ahmed Sule, CFA

Ahmed is a Researcher and Strategist at Diadem Capital Partners Limited and has overall responsibility for research, consulting and strategic management. Before that, he consulted for Societe Generale Kleinwort Hambros Bank as a Regulatory Reporting specialist.  Ahmed has over 20 years of experience in the financial and consulting sector. 

After graduating from Ogun State University, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in Lagos. He worked as a financial accountant at Chevron before relocating to the United Kingdom.  He worked in the Corporate Finance Department of KPMG in London specializing in valuation. After leaving KPMG, he worked for Barclays Bank and Lloyds Bank in the Channel Islands as a Financial Controller. Ahmed is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria,  Information Systems Audit and Control Association. He is also a CFA Charterholder. He sits on the Editorial Board of the CFA Institute Journal Review. Ahmed is a prolific writer and is a contributor to the Financial Times, Guardian,  Proshare, Thought Leader, Daily Maverick, Sahara Reporters, Professional Investor, China Daily, and South Africa’s Mail and Guardian. His hobbies are photojournalism, writing, cycling and watching Grand Slam tennis.


Olufunmi Adepoju CFA, FRM, ACA, B.Sc., CRA

Managing Partner

Mrs Funmi Adepoju is our Managing Partner. She is a graduate of accounting from the University of Ilorin and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2000. Her work experience spans various sectors including banking, economic and equity research, credit risk management, asset management and credit ratings. She has worked in reputable organisations including Prudent Bank Plc, Financial Derivatives Company, Agusto and Co and Chapel Hill Advisory Ltd.

Funmi joined Agusto and Co in 2004 as an analyst and was responsible for writing credit ratings reports on companies in the cement and real estate industries. She was also responsible for writing the Insurance Industry report throughout the time she worked in the firm. Other research report she worked on at various times include the Banking Industry Report, the Nigerian Macroeconomic Overview, Real Estate Industry Report and Stock Market Report. Funmi also worked in the product development unit for a while, where she helped develop the fund rating, municipal bond rating and insurance ratings models. She subsequently rose to the position of the team lead for the Risk Management Department and Insurance Rating Unit. She was part of team that worked with deployment of rating tools for United Bank for Africa (UBA) in 2004 and was the team lead for implementation of credit risk management framework in First Bank of Nigeria and Fidelity Bank Plc in 2005 and 2008 respectively.

She resigned from Chapel Hill Advisory as a senior associate for the research group in June 2009 to join PearlMutual Consulting Ltd. Funmi has been on the IBFC Alliance Training Faculty for over ten years. She is also on the training faculty of FITC, Risk Managers Association of Nigeria (RIMAN), Stern and Kay Consulting, Workforce Centre and Netherwood Consulting Ltd. Funmi is a CFA charter holder, a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a Certified Risk Analyst.
